The End

Since its creation in 2011, this blog became a great source of inspiration, furthering my interest in architecture. Now, after almost four years in architecture school, I'm officially retiring it, though I am still keeping it open for public view.

This site was influential in growing my interest in the architecture profession while at the same time increasing my writing ability. I've always loved to write, and this blog was an exceptional outlet for it. Yet even though I haven't posted in a few years, my writing continued.

In March of 2017, I wrote my first book. A collection of short stories about my first design studio at the Oklahoma State's School of Architecture, the book retold the inspiring, hilarious, and stressful events of Design Studio One from a student's perspective, told in colorful detail.

The series continued with the next studios, Two, Three, and Four, continuing into the present day, and I haven't stopped writing. The books are available on Lulu.com, the self-publishing site for authors, as well as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other places. Before I leave this blog, I thought I'd provide a link to my works, so that those interested can see not just where I've been through The Art of Architecture, but where I'm going with these new adventures in my studio books.

Thanks for all the comments, interest, and discussions many of you have contributed throughout the years. Now, it's time for a new beginning.
